Glenburnie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Dialysis Transporter. 

As a Transporter, you play a key role in providing Care Beyond Compare by safely transporting our residents from their units to our on-site dialysis center and back. This position is critical in ensuring residents receive timely dialysis treatments while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a CNA background, allowing for a strong understanding of resident needs during transfers.

What You’ll Do 

Safely transport residents from their units to the dialysis center and back. 

Assist residents with mobility during transport, ensuring safe transfers using appropriate equipment. 

Provide support and reassurance to residents during transport, monitoring their comfort and well-being. 

Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate transport schedules and ensure timely dialysis treatments. 

Maintain transport equipment and ensure hallways and pathways are safe and clear. 

Report any resident concerns, changes, or incidents to the nursing team immediately. 

Perform other duties as needed to support resident care and the smooth operation of the dialysis program. 

What You Need 

Active unencumbered certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Virginia 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

Ability to work independently or as part of a team 

Commitment to resident safety, comfort, and dignity
