In this role, you will provide transportation for individuals participating in services, helping them safely and reliably attend programs and appointments. You will coordinate closely with the Transportation Supervisor to manage daily routes, ensure vehicle safety, and support operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
· Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from homes, appointments, and service sites for individuals enrolled in programming
· Plan and adjust daily transportation routes using mapping tools to ensure efficient travel
· Maintain accurate records of pick-ups, drop-offs, and no-show notifications to staff
· Perform regular vehicle safety checks using standardized checklists
· Act as a liaison between staff and clients during transportation hours and while on site
· Support the Health & Safety Officer by completing monthly inventories, safety checklists, and accessibility surveys
· Assist with general office tasks such as filing, record audits, basic maintenance, or errands when transportation duties are not active
· Attend required trainings and maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal safety policies
· Promote dignity, respect, and advocacy for all persons served
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required
Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and maintain current auto insurance
· Must possess and maintain a Missouri Class E driver’s license
· Must attain and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens
· Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills required
· Ability to maintain a positive attitude and serve as a professional role model
· Must demonstrate knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices
Physical Requirements
· Sedentary work – involves mostly sitting with occasional walking or standing
· Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
· Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing or writing during the workday
