We’re looking for a motivated Transportation Supervisor to lead daily operations within our transportation team — ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery performance. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving challenges on and off the road.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM (flexibility required)What You’ll Do
Lead and support a team of drivers to achieve safety, compliance, and on-time delivery goals
Monitor and resolve ELD and DOT compliance issues, partnering with the ELD Coordinator as needed
Review routing, scheduling, and backhaul assignments to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness
Build strong relationships with drivers — providing coaching, feedback, and support to keep operations running smoothly
Oversee daily driver documentation, payroll accuracy, and communication logs
Partner with Logistics to streamline routing and reduce delivery delays
Analyze driver performance data and recommend opportunities for improvement
Step in to drive routes if needed to maintain service and coverage
Collaborate with the Transportation Manager on department initiatives, team development, and special projects
What You’ll BringAssociate’s degree and 2+ years of transportation or logistics experience (1+ year in a leadership role)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Working knowledge of DOT regulations, driver safety standards, and ELD systems
Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling, and routing software
CDL-A license preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
Experience in the food distribution industry is a plus
