Transportation Sr PM, Amazon Fulfillment Experience
The Transportation Capacity Sr Program Manager will lead strategic capacity planning initiatives across Amazon's Mexico last-mile delivery network. This critical role drives the development and execution of capacity strategies at a granular service-type level (Same-Day, Next-Day, Two-Day), ensuring optimal resource allocation across delivery stations, service partners, and flex operations. The role requires sophisticated modeling of delivery capacity needs by region, station, and service type, while considering seasonal variations, growth projections, and network constraints.

Working at the intersection of network planning, operations, and service partner management, this position demands deep analytical expertise to forecast and plan capacity requirements that support multiple delivery speeds and service offerings. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex operational data into actionable capacity strategies that optimize cost, speed, and service quality across our last-mile network.

Key job responsibilities
• Developing detailed capacity models at the service-type level (Same-Day/Next-Day/Two-Day)
• Creating station-level planning strategies that account for varying delivery speed requirements
• Optimizing the mix of delivery capacity across DSP partners and Amazon Flex
• Building scalable capacity planning processes that support peak seasons and network growth
• Implementing sophisticated forecasting methodologies for each service type
• Ensuring capacity alignment with customer promise and delivery speed offerings
• Managing trade-offs between cost, speed, and service quality in capacity decisions
• Developing contingency plans to handle volume fluctuations and network disruptions

A day in the life
You'll lead strategic capacity planning initiatives that directly impact Amazon's ability to meet customer promises across different service speeds. Your day might include analyzing station-level performance data, optimizing service partner routes by delivery speed, developing peak season capacity strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement new planning methodologies. You'll regularly engage with operations teams to ensure capacity plans align with ground-level execution capabilities.
