We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Transportation Router to optimize our daily delivery and pickup routes, manage logistics, and support dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of routing principles, excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in routing software. **JOB DUTIES:** + Design and optimize efficient and cost-effective delivery and pickup routes daily, considering factors such as delivery windows, traffic patterns, vehicle capacity, driver availability, and customer requirements. + Utilize routing software to generate optimal routes, minimize mileage, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall fleet utilization. + Import and manage client orders efficiently, ensuring all delivery details and special instructions are accurately captured for routing. + Plan and prepare next-day routing schedules, including driver assignments and vehicle allocation. + Act as a key liaison between drivers, customers, and internal departments. **REQUIREMENTS:** + Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in transportation routing, logistics, or dispatch. + Proven experience with routing software and transportation management systems. + Demonstrate strong proficiency in routing and logistics software. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and colleagues. **This role offers significant opportunities for personal and professional development within our growing company.
