A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in transportation engineering including traffic operations studies, traffic signals, transit priority, meso/microsimulation modelling, highway and transit infrastructure projects, master and secondary plans, environmental assessments, traffic impact studies, traffic safety, pedestrian and cycling studies, and traffic management plans.Experience with projects involving pedestrian simulation modelling for transit stations and other public facilitiesExperience with projects involving LRT, BRT, or subway / heavy rail is an assetFamiliarity with planning policies and guiding documents in the Greater Toronto Area is an assetExperience working on MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, York Region, Peel Region, Durham Region, or City of Toronto projects preferred.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
