A Transportation Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing daily transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service. This role requires strong people management skills, effective fleet oversight, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
What will I be doing?As a Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead, supervise, and develop transportation staff, including drivers, and coordinators
Manage fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, available, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards
Plan, coordinate, and optimize daily transportation schedules, routes, and logistics
Handle operational challenges and incidents promptly, maintaining service continuity under pressure
Monitor service quality and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and emergency procedures
Control and monitor transportation-related costs, including fuel, maintenance, and external vendors
Prepare operational reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Coordinate closely with other departments to align transportation services with operational needs
Maintain a professional leadership presence and promote a positive and safe work environment

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Previous experience as a Transportation Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar leadership role
Experience within hospitality, tourism, logistics, or service-oriented environments
Degree or diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of ground transportation operations and service standards
