Job Description:
RaganSmith, a Pape-Dawson company, is seeking paid Transportation Engineering Interns based in our Nashville office. This internship will focus on learning the production of all types of transportation design and traffic engineering through plans production, project design related tasks, site visits, and technical reports. This position will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with other departments such as survey, landscape architecture, and commercial and residential engineering to assist in the development of a wide variety of public and private projects.
Responsibilities
Train on how to produce transportation design plans, traffic and environmental studies, and analyses through project software
Learn to follow project timelines, including regulations being met and deadlines
Project site visits to gather design information and project photographs
Creation of technical reports
Work in a collaborative, team environment to contribute to project tasks and deliverables
Additional related duties as needed
