Job Description

AECOM has an exceptional opportunity for a Transportation Engineer III to join our successful Transportation Business Line in Atlanta, GA. This position offers a hybrid work option. In this position, the engineer will work on one or more projects, involving a combination of the following:

Provide technical oversight & support to entry level engineersPerform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervisionIndependently perform all tasks necessary to complete design, including but not limited to:Quantities/cost estimationRoadway geometricsMaintenance of traffic/stagingDrainage designModelingSigning and markingRight-of-wayErosion and sedimentation control

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering or a related field4 years of experience designing civil engineering projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationGeorgia PE License

Preferred:

8 years of experience designing transportation engineering projectsExperience designing Georgia roadway projectsExperience with GDOT Plan Development ProcessExperience with AASHTO GreenbookExperience with technical software applications, such as OpenRoads, MicroStation, and/or  InRoads
