As a member of this team you will contribute to CDM Smith's success by;
−Working onsite at our client location managing the maintenance of system-wide traffic counts, monitoring of traffic conditions, and maintenance of roadway and traffic characteristics data.
-Project Traffic Analysis Reports and Memorandums.
-Existing conditions and design traffic development.
-Capacity/LOS, corridor feasibility studies.
-Capacity/operations/simulation.
-Signal timing design.
-Transportation Systems Management & Operations.
-Strategy development and analysis.
-Interchange access requests.
-Access management.
-Safety analyses
-Historical crash analysis and future quantitative safety analysis.
-Alternatives development and analysis.
-Prepare Typical Section, Equivalent Single Axle Loads (ESAL) and Lane Closure analysis memorandums for design projects.
-Performs other duties as required.
-Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm.
-May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
