This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact infrastructure and planning projects across Canada, working alongside engineers, planners, and policy experts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in economic analysis and a passion for applying economic principles to real-world challenges. **Key Responsibilities** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Conduct economic impact assessments, cost-benefit analyses, multiple account evaluations, and business case studies for infrastructure, transportation, and planning projects. + Perform economic modelling and forecasting to support project evaluation and policy development. + Research local and regional economic trends, including labor markets, education and skills development, social inclusion, and business investment. + Provide strategic advice and recommendations to support urban and rural regeneration and economic development. + Draft and prepare high-quality reports and presentations based on analysis and project outcomes. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects, contributing strong technical insights and creative problem-solving. + Support project delivery by providing technical input and assisting with project coordination; may mentor junior team members. + Ensure work is delivered to the highest standards of quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related discipline + Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in applied economic analysis **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in Economics or a related discipline + Experience working in consulting, public infrastructure, or government planning is considered an asset **Additional Information** Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
