Job Description:

We are seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to join a fast-growing civil engineering team working on a wide range of urban and rural roadway projects for local and regional agencies. Key Responsibilities:

Lead or support roadway and highway design projects from concept through constructionPrepare construction documents and design plans using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and MicroStation/InRoadsCoordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are metAssist in project initiation, design reviews, and quality controlCommunicate project progress and technical details effectively with internal and external teams

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in transportation design (roadway/highway)Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and/or MicroStation InRoadsStrong understanding of the project lifecycle and public infrastructure design standardsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

PE license (or ability to obtain within 3-6 months)Experience with roundabout designFamiliarity with local agency standards and DOT requirementsExperience mentoring junior engineers or leading small design teams

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
