Job Title: Transportation Coordinator
Job Description

Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs. Monitor and track transportation activities using GPS and dispatch software. Communicate with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records of dispatch times, routes, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.Prepare and process transportation documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and compliance reports.Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.Assist in route planning and optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, and reporting.Respond to emergency calls and coordinate appropriate responses.Essential Skills2-3 years dispatch experienceProficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially ExcelStrong skills in transportation logistics and administrative supportAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School DiplomaWork Environment

This position is on-site from Sunday to Thursday, with working hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role offers an opportunity to potentially transition to a permanent position based on company budget and projections.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
