Transportation Clerk

Job Description

Earn $17.50/hour

Location - 4875 N Susquehanna Trail

Monday 7am-7:30pm

Tuesday 7am-3:30pm

Wednesday OFF

Thursday 7am-3:30pm

Friday 7am-7:30pm

You will contribute by:

Maintaining records on the destination, weight, and charges on all incoming and outgoing shipments

Performing data entry, labeling, and filing, generating import files, assisting with the tracking and expediting of freight, and freight and broker invoice auditing

Ensuring the curacy of rate charges by verifying the classification of materials with the rate schedule

Monitoring pending shipments related to the shipping schedules of purchases issued and updating the traffic record system

Confirming the information, providing product information, resolving problems, determining the method of shipment and shipping items, and maintaining records

Scanning or hand-entering information into a computer

Creating bills of lading, shipment reports, and processing incoming and outgoing shipment record

Maintaining records of overcharges and damages to goods in transit

Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
