Transportation Analyst
Work Flexibility: Remote

What you will do-

As a Transportation Analyst you will support the Global Transportation team’s objectives by delivering data-driven insights and assisting in the identification of improvement opportunities. You will contribute to the development of business cases and communicate findings to stakeholders, with an emphasis on clear and effective visual presentation. Technical proficiency with relational databases and the ability to collaborate with developers on process enhancements are important for success in this role.

Develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, clearly communicating key findings and business implications

Build and maintain analytics tools supported by data pipelines to deliver insights across transportation cost, service, quality, sustainability, and other key performance metrics

Apply transportation industry knowledge to analyze shipment and operational data across modes including parcel, courier, LTL, truckload, air cargo, and ocean transportation

Support the design and development of business intelligence reporting solutions, contributing to requirements gathering, testing, and ongoing enhancements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for projects and initiatives

Assist in maintaining reliable data infrastructure by identifying data quality issues and supporting process improvements

Work independently on defined assignments while seeking guidance as needed in more complex or ambiguous situations

What you will need-

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline) - required

0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects - required

Exposure to transportation, logistics, supply chain, or analytics - preferred

Strong curiosity, drive, and an analytical mindset 

Ability to approach problems methodically, pay attention to detail, and enjoy figuring out solutions

Foundational understanding of transportation concepts and basic pricing principles; willingness to learn mode-specific pricing structures and cost analysis methodologies

Exposure to shipment data analysis or interest in learning how transportation pricing logic is applied across modes such as Parcel, Specialty Courier, U.S. LTL, and Air/Ocean Freight Forwarding

Basic proficiency in SQL or demonstrated ability to learn quickly; familiarity with Python or other programming languages

Introductory understanding of relational databases and general data processing concepts; exposure to ETL/ELT or data pipelines

Experience creating reports or dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) through coursework, internships, or professional experience

Ability to communicate findings clearly, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences

Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team projects under guidance

$59,900.00 - $108,300.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
