Job Title: Transportation Accounts Specialist

Responsibilities
+ Process weekly settlements for owner/operators, including adjustments to settlement amounts and recurring vouchers for assigned trucking companies.
+ Prepare settlement checks and related documentation for assigned trucking company vendors.
+ Assist with the resolution of settlement amount issues proactively.
+ Coordinate the distribution process for weekly settlements.
+ Issue checks for account deposits and handle escrow advance requests via EFS.
+ Update Great Plains and related administrative software with changes for owner/operators.
+ Set-up and maintain escrow accounts and recurring vouchers for deductions.
+ Process escrow releases according to agreement terms and validate account balances.
+ Maintain review and control over negative driver vendor account balances.
+ Promptly process adjustments for inactive vendors and close escrow accounts into accounts payable.
+ Ensure insurance is paid for the final month of work by the vendor.
+ Monitor loan and accident deductions to properly maintain owner/operator deductions.
+ Review and input invoices for insurance programs and fuel card purchases.
+ Process vouchers for driver-related deductions for assigned trucking company vendors.
Essential Skills
+ Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, function formulas, filtering, and linked worksheets.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Audit, compliance, internal audit, and auditing skills.
+ Experience with driver payroll and transportation payroll.
+ Experience in processing owner/operator settlements and account maintenance on escrows.
Work Environment
The position is based onsite, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Dress code is professional attire, and the role requires interaction with various stakeholders in the trucking and transportation industry.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collierville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
