To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of compliance and health and safety procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nOverseeing the Transport Operation, managing the contract and liaising with the customer and warehouse team\nManaging and monitoring Health and Safety processes for both site and driver teams\nBeing the point of escalation for operational issues including management and resolution within transport\nEnsure all safety records, compliance and regulations are up to date and in line with company policies and legislation, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious and demonstrative experience in a similar management role in a fast moving environment\nMust hold an International Transport Manager CPC qualification\nGood IT literacy using Microsoft Office and ideally experience using Tachomaster, Microlise and Key2\nAnalytical and methodical, with the ability to collate and manipulate data\nExcellent stakeholder management skills - both written and verbal communication\nStrong working knowledge of Transport Regulations, Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours\n\n
