DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team in our transport department.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

\n\nAid Transport Controllers in directing and controlling resources in the area to meet defined targets\nEnsure NDC and full line are serviced efficiently\nManage front desk - brief & de brief drivers runs - Tachomaster Download escalate issues to shift controller\nIssue drivers with trip sheet, OPS13, Unit, Update flight board, update microlise\nMonitoring and managing timed store deliveries and trunks highlighting issues to the Transport Controller.\nEnsure all required vehicles are available throughout the day.\nMaintain service schedules ensuring that all O license commitments are met.\nAction any reported defects immediately.\nMaintain a presence throughout the area of responsibility, leading by example and ensuring fairness at all times.\nBe fully conversant with all company rules, regs, procedures, processes and policies. \nReport any infringements.\nSupport payroll on Monday, and holiday cover\n\n
