Transmission Line Associate Project Manager
Job Title: Transmission Line Associate Project ManagerJob Description

This role requires the ability to supervise a broad range of responsibilities and interface effectively with clients, vendors, engineers, and other personnel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build relationships and collaborate effectively. Proficiency in computers and software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and PLS-CADD is necessary. The position involves promoting and complying with safety requirements.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, executing, and closing transmission line projects.Support the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, resources, and schedules.Promote and enforce safety requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and technical specifications.Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders.Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project milestones.Monitor project progress and performance for adherence to standards, quality, and safety.Identify and address potential project issues, escalating critical ones to the Project Manager.Assist in tracking project expenses and budgets, ensuring financial compliance.Proactively communicate capabilities and strengths to clients and seek new project opportunities.
Essential SkillsMinimum of 4-6 years of transmission line design/engineering project experience.At least 1-2 years of experience managing engineering and design projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.Working knowledge of corporate accounting practices and business operations.
Additional Skills & QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) is preferred.Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable.Preferred 10-12 years of experience with managing engineering and design projects.

The position is based in an office environment in Chattanooga, TN. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
