As a Transformer Mechanical Assembler, you will
be responsible for performing the final assembly of the transformer to prepare it
for testing and the disassembly of the tested transformer and preparation for
dispatch. This
position is designed for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality
compliance. As you progress in your job role, you would be able to support us in
growing the department by assisting in the training and development of new
hires in the organization.
**HowYou’ll Make an Impact**
+ Prepares and assembles transformer components(tanks, covers, radiators, etc.) for final assembly, operates overheadcranes and forklifts, and prepares the unit for testing
+ Supports the testing process and disassemblesaccessories post-testing to prepare the transformer for shipping anddispatch
+ Performs quality inspections, documentsprocesses, and assists in developing and maintaining technicalinstructions for assembly and disassembly procedures
+ Training andmentoring of new hires into department.
+ Planning andreviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-establishedproduction plan and manufacturing standards.
+ Responsible tofulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines,and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.].
**WhatYou Bring**
+ High school degree or equivalent with relevant technicaltraining/experience.
+ At least 1 years of experience in the assembly or disassemblyprocess for large equipment.
+ Experience operating cranes and the ability to obtain a Craneoperation certification.
+ Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, andperform complex measurements.
+ Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test onreading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local communitycolleges.
+ Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Fork TruckLicense and certification for working in heights.
**Other Key Requirements:**
· Successful applicants must be able to pass standard
hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
+ Must also be ableto read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructionsin English.
+ Must bewilling to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-jobtraining for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area oftraining. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
