Driving Plant Transformation Initiatives:

Lead and execute transformational projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimization in cement manufacturing.

Identify and implement innovative strategies to modernize plant processes and enhance production capabilities.

Drive structured change programs, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with long-term business objectives.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

Analyze plant performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for process optimization in raw material handling, clinker production, and cement grinding.

Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to achieve operational excellence.

Develop action plans based on root cause analysis to enhance process stability and eliminate inefficiencies.

Digitalization and Technology Implementation:

Drive digital transformation by integrating smart technologies, automation, and real-time data analytics into cement plant operations.

Promote the use of AI, IoT, and predictive maintenance tools to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve asset reliability.

Facilitate training and capability building on digital tools and technologies to ensure smooth adoption across plant operations.

Energy and Sustainability Enhancement:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy consumption, reduce carbon footprint, and enhance the use of alternative fuels and raw materials.

Ensure compliance with sustainability goals and environmental regulations related to cement manufacturing.

Identify and execute projects focused on waste heat recovery, renewable energy integration, and circular economy principles.

Change Management and Cultural Transformation:

Lead organizational change by fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making within cement plants.

Engage with cross-functional teams to align transformation initiatives with business objectives.

Conduct change impact assessments and develop structured communication plans to drive employee buy-in and adoption.

Performance Monitoring and Benchmarking:

Establish performance benchmarks by analyzing internal and external best practices in cement manufacturing.

Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.

Leverage comparative analysis tools to track progress, identify gaps, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Supply Chain and Logistics Efficiency:

Optimize logistics, procurement, and inventory management to reduce costs and enhance material availability.

Streamline inbound and outbound supply chain processes to minimize waste and improve plant productivity.

Implement digital tracking systems to enhance real-time visibility and control over supply chain operations.

Cost Control and Financial Performance:

Drive cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations by identifying inefficiencies and optimizing resource utilization.

Monitor financial KPIs related to transformation projects and ensure alignment with business profitability targets.

Develop business cases for investment in new technologies and process improvements, ensuring a strong return on investment.

Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and safety standards within plant transformation projects.

Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with new technology adoption and process changes.

Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance are embedded in transformation strategies.

Stakeholder Management and Reporting:

Collaborate with senior leadership, plant managers, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment on transformation goals.

Provide regular reports and insights on transformation progress, impact assessment, and key challenges to decision-makers.

Engage with external stakeholders, including technology providers and industry experts, to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends.

Education Qualification:

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Operations Management or Business Administration is preferred.

Work Experience:

10+ years of experience in driving transformation projects, process optimization, and digitalization in cement manufacturing or heavy industry.

Industry Knowledge:

Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management methodologies with a strong focus on operational excellence. Familiarity with digital transformation, Industry 4.0 technologies, and sustainability initiatives in the cement sector.
