Job Title: TRANSFORMATION TRAINING LEAD

JOB SUMMARY

CARE is a leading humanitarian and development organization fighting global poverty and providing lifesaving assistance in emergencies. We place special focus on working alongside women and girls because, equipped with the proper resources, they have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. 

CARE is undergoing significant transformation across a number of core business processes, systems, and structures, through the implementation of a number of initiatives that will help drive CARE’s new 5-year stratgey being launched in 2025. The delivery of effective training will be a critical part of delivering these strategic initiatives across CARE’s 50 business units and several thousand staff around the world. 

We, therefore, require a Transformation Training Lead that will be responsible for developing training approaches and key training materials to meet staff learning needs. The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively partner closely with colleagues from different functional areas and design, develop and implement high quality effective training programs. This role will be responsible for supporting intiatives through the creation and delivery of comprehensive training and learning deliverables for different groups of audiences across CARE. These initiatives include CARE’s Supply Chain Management & Finance project, which is implementing an Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management system, and a Culture Change initiative. 

As one of the focus areas will be developing training content for the Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management system, experience of Oracle Fusion and Oracle Guided Learning is essential. 

This is a one-year fixed term contract, but with the strong possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Management & Finance Project

Develop a Training Approach, that comprises Training Needs Analysis and a Training Development Plan, that identifies the training requirements that training content needs to meet. Design and develop comprehensive training materials for Oracle Supply Chain Management & Finance system implementation. This should include engaging PowerPoint presentations, learning modules, and hands-on exercises to promote learning. Develop Oracle Guided Learning content for multiple system modules including: Supply Chain Management modules Finance modules Core HR modulesCollaborate with subject matter experts within the project team, as well as Oracle and CARE’s implementation partner, to ensure technical accuracy and relevance Upskill the project change manager team to enable them to deliver trainings to end users. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end users across different organizational levels

 

Culture Change Project

Design and implement a Training Approach to support CARE’s organizational culture transformation Develop learning content that promotes adoption of the new behaviours and core values that have been defined following engagement with staff from across the organisation that support the delivery of CARE’s new 5-year strategic direction Design interactive workshops and experiential learning activities Collaborate with the project’s Change Manager to develop measurement tools to assess culture change progress and training effectiveness Partner with leadership to cascade culture change messaging throughout the organization

 

Training Support to Other Strategic Initiatives

Provide training capacity support to other strategic initiatives within CARE’s transformation portfolio Collaborate with various project teams to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions Contribute to the development of training standards and best practices across the transformation portfolio Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering training for business processes, IT systems and technical competencies.
- Proven experience of Oracle Guided Learning, that is part of the suite of applications that comprise Oracle Fusion.
- Significant experience in designing and delivering a range of learning interventions, including face to face and technology enabled learning.
- Excellent skills in developing content, using a variety of media that is accessible and user-friendly.Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience of working in the NGO sector, specifically within humanitarian or development contexts, undertaking management training and capacity building with staff.
- Experience working in a large complex organisation with a range of international operations.
- Experience in developing training for managers.
