Job Description

Summary: Manage the on-time and accurate pick up, process, and transfer of Transcon shipments with a sense of urgency. Offer best-in-class customer service to Expeditors customers and network of destination branches.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace Transcon files and reportingEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billingEnsure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicableInteract with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standardsContribute and maintain good relationships with suppliersNetwork communications, timely responses to emails and requestsMeet KPI standards in accordance with Company policyUnderstand customers procedures and maintain updated internal SOPs

 

Qualifications6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceEffective interpersonal skills, including proven verbal and written skills.Detailed oriented with ability to manage multiple job functions with minimal supervisionPro-active, strong organizational skillsGood computer skills (Excel, Word)Fluent in English
