Job Title: Transactions Specialist - (ENTRY-LEVEL OPPORTUNITY)
Job Description
As a Transactions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with donor and non-profit conversations and managing the receipt and processing of financial transactions within our recordkeeping system. This position requires collaboration with donors, charities, and staff to fulfill donor requests effectively. You will be trained across various operational disciplines, adapting to workload demands.
Responsibilities
Complete routine data entry for financial transactions, including contributions, grants, and exchanges.Maintain an understanding of VC and IRS-approved charitable donation policies and practices.Apply general knowledge of assigned transactions upon successful completion of training.Support and sort inbound and outbound mail procedures.Assist in transactional processes related to grant delivery, either via check or electronically.Respond to inbound calls and emails from clients and charities.Achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy with functional skills and desktop applications.Demonstrate proficiency in VC's policies and guidelines.Provide exceptional professionalism and customer service.Offer backup and support to team members as needed.Support continuous improvement by providing feedback.Exercise the highest level of confidentiality and discretion with client and account information.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or finance obtained since 2023.Experience in customer-facing roles, such as hospitality, banking, collections, financial planning, loan processing, or B2B.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting and customer support.Experience with client service and Excel.Understanding of business planning and customer service.Work Environment
This position operates within a team of 15, reporting to leadership onsite two days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). This is a 37.5-hour work week role with the possibility of increased business hours and overtime during November and December. Candidates must provide holiday/vacation requests prior to interviews, as this could impact selection. The worksite is located at 955 Chesterbrook Blvd, Chesterbrook, PA. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a friendly and engaging atmosphere, and the potential for extension or conversion after 6+ months.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
