Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established, full-service law firm in Bloomington on the search for a Transactional Associate. Responsibilities:

Focus on estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents

Advise businesses and individuals on a range of transactional matters

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and related documents

Assist in real estate or business-related transactions as needed

Work directly with clients and firm leadership on complex legal issues

Develop and maintain client relationships within the Bloomington and Central Illinois community

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of transactional experience (3-5 years preferred); low to mid-level estate planning experience required

Additional experience in real estate or business transactions a plus, but not required

JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Illinois

Strong academic background, client-service skills, and attention to detail

Position Details:

First 6 months in-office, followed by a hybrid schedule

Billable requirement of 1200-1500 hours in the first year
