Role Summary:

The Product Governance Associate role is responsible for defining and implementing the Product governance and oversight strategy. Working closely with Transaction Banking product teams including risk and control functions as well as our Operations colleagues to help define, implement and manage core product governance and oversight functions within TxB Product. The role requires a good understanding of payments and cash management products as well as connectivity and integration solutions for corporate clients. And ideally some background in creating and maintaining product oversight structures and mechanisms, including document management workflows and content management controls, maintaining documentation and approvals libraries, and working closely with product managers feeding new product approvals into our Product Oversight Counsel. 

Responsibilities:

Execute against product strategy and Transaction Banking’s high growth objectivesEnd-to-end product management support for US Product TeamHelp create a better organized, more transparent and disciplined product organization by designing and managing tooling for the Product Oversight functionWork directly with Transaction Banking Product and Operations & Servicing teams to understand their needs and assist with solution design and implementationDevelop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business teams, various product teams, and 2LOD risk and control organizations

 Ideal candidate has:

Experience in payments and cash management would be great, but more importantly a good understanding of product governance and product documentation workflows, including product lifecycle conceptExcellent organizational, time management and planning skills with a track record of balancing multiple initiatives across ad hoc and project-based activities Mission Driven: Must be a strong believer in the team and mission Inclusive Culture: Considerate to the cultural differences of team Forward thinking: Anticipation of organizational needs for efficiency Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new businessHighly organized and diligent in following-up

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of Treasury/Cash Management product management/development or engineering/operations experience, ideally with a focus on end-to-end product design, product lifecycle Track record of supporting complex teams with organizational topics, design and maintain decision making workflows. Lead and manage all Product Governance forums and diligently follow-up on all action items to completionSupport the design of new Product Governance policies, procedures and frameworks and own the documentation and ongoing maintenance of all documents Contribute input into overall product strategy and support the US regional product teams on general business management 

 Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of cash management services and products including collections, payments, account structures, liquidity management, and virtual accountsStrong organizational skills and ability to write procedures. Ability to ensure processes related to the Product Governance function are tightly controlled, documented and able to withstand oversight scrutinyAbility to build trust across diverse sets of stakeholders in Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance and other functional areas, able to identify gaps in processes and work to close themDesirable to have working knowledge of workflow management tools, business process tools, PowerPoint, Flowchart applications, all Office applications, JIRA
