Transaction Accounting Leader
**Primary Responsibilities:** + You will manage contractual rebate programs, including accruals, payouts, and reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting standards. + You will analyze of customer query, disputes, complaints based on GY records. + You will prepare information for management to decide on the way forward based on the outcome of Analysis (GTN Analysis) and discussion with Sales and Marketing team. + You will check and prepare payout calculations and obtain the necessary approvals from management (GA Manager) for the proposed program. + Prepare and issue credit and debit notes to customers, as and when required. + You will check and prepare journals for necessary manual accruals and pay-out for the program. Ledger journals and reporting of Central results. + You will check and prepare accruals of tactical rebates at month-end in Vistex. + You will review the completeness of accrual list to ensure all programs have been calculated. + You will perform proper account reconciliations and ensure accuracy & timelines of monthly closing & reporting. + You will ensure proper sales tax computation, adjustment and balance during month end closing. + You will prepare and submit sales tax and support tax-related matters. + You will coordinate request from internal and external audit and respond to misc. regulatories inquiries & surveys. + You will support ad hoc projects, stock counts, and general accounting analysis & queries. + You will take lead of projects initiated in response to newly issued statutory requirements (e.g. e-Invoice implementation). + You will identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to business processes and systems. **Primary Requirements:** + You have Bachelor's Degree - with Accounting and Finance background + You have minimum 5 years experience in Operation Accounting (AP & AR) + You are computer literate : MS Office, Access Database & SAP + You have understanding of local and US GAAP accounting standards + You have understanding of internal and external audit concepts + You are self-motivated, Good interpersonal and communication skills + You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be fluent in English (verbal & written) + You are open to new challenges & desire to learn + You are adaptive to monthly closing cycle (late night cycles) \#Li-Hybrid Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
