The Training Technician is responsible in providing training support to FME-APEC programs. This position also supports the general management of FME APEC facility and device maintenance.
Supports the Education Team
Prepares training equipment, supplies and consumables needed for all APEC programs.Performs skills demonstration on water testing, concentrate mixing, HD machine set-up, dialyzer reprocessingActs as watcher, supervising trainees’ skills practice on water testing, concentrate mixing, HD machine set-up, dialyzer reprocessing.Performs additional duties and responsibilities assigned by immediate manager to support APEC trainings.Maintenance of Water Treatment System (WTS) area
Maintains cleanliness and safety of all machines and equipment in WTS.Coordinates with local Technical Services and ensures availability of printed routine maintenance record (e.g backwashing)Monitors safety of WTS equipment and reports to APEC team and local TSC if any alarms/incidentsManagement of APEC facilities and equipment
Devices includes all facility equipment (office, classroom, lounge, clinical skills lab equipment, ACUs)
Performs routine checks according to schedule, ensuring all equipment meet standard requirement and in optimal working condition at all timesPrepares skills lab machines and equipment according to SOPs prior to usage.Maintains cleanliness and safety of all machines and equipment after use.Performs HD machines routine heat disinfection according to SOPs.Coordinates with Technical Services for equipment alarms/repairs and assists them within scope of job role (e.g Flow alarm and cleaning of filter/tubing with supervision of TSC engineer)Maintains records of all services rendered to facility equipment.Monitors and coordinates with respective department the preventive maintenance of all equipment according to SOPs and schedule.Stock Control
Receives deliveries of supplies and parts ordered, and updates records accordingly.Keeps updated training supplies/consumables inventory to ensure availability of safety stock by coordinating timely with respective personnel and support department.Secures stock inventory and ensures all usage are properly recorded.General Orderliness
Acts as safety officer and ensures policy compliance to general safety, cleanliness, waste management and infection control.Maintains general cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.Professional Development
