Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Technical Trainer. Responsible for developing, performing, and coordinating all technical training related process in alignment with organizational objectives. This includes collaborating with leadership team and key personnel in other departments to ensure proper implementation of Trane policies and procedures. Defining measurable goals for training requirements, understand performance/behaviors needed for success, determine learning objectives to deliver desired performance, engage multiple functional areas to deepen knowledge and develop content for employees to complete practical hands on, classroom and other training collateral.

Where is the work:  

This position has been designated as full-time, On-Site at our Pueblo, CO facility and is considered safety-sensitive.

 What you will do:    

Working closely with all departments to determine and create needed technical training while adhering to Trane Technologies BOS standards.Creation of technical training program, that could include but not limited to; braze excellence, wiring excellence, TWI, TLDP, leadership training, hands-on simulated scenarios, presentations regarding procedures, job expectations and regulatory requirements, the safe operation of various equipment to produce desired results and general information intended to expedite development of personnel during onboarding process and/or employee development.Create, document, deliver, and track training activitiesCoordinate, build, and revise of training qualificationsDevelop evaluation process and conduct evaluations and determine approval or rejection of promotional, level/category, lateral and/or career progress.Lead and/or coordinate technical training facilitation and qualificationScheduling and organizing technical training classes. Schedule rooms, Dojo, trainers, and resources and other required training (GMP, HR, EHS, etc.)Read, create, and determine JBS, Standard Work needed for performing duties.Continually evaluate the processes and procedures to develop/modify existing JBS and work instructions for safety and efficiency.Supervise and assign trainers based on skill set Maintenance of technical training records and certification upkeep Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures, applicable laws, Career Progress, and regulations.Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions.Create KPIs and access effectiveness of training program Prepare and communicate monthly Technical Training MetricsProvide regular updates to leadership on the Technical Training program status and initiativesPerform compliance self- audits, as requiredPeriodically check certified operators for process compliance (Safety & Quality)Assist in change management, CAPA’s, and deviations as needed in collaboration with cross functional team.Maintain KRONOS Pay System by reviewing, editing, and approving employee timecardsPerform other duties as assigned by management.

What you will bring:   

Bachelor’s degree preferred, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeExperience in continuous improvement- based tools/techniques Previous experience as a training coordinator and/or training role preferredMust possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Proven experience leading / facilitating training along with operational excellence experience in lean transformations 

Actively practices and promotes safety.Must be exemplary performance in attitude, attendance, and ability.

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $ 64,000-95,000/annually
