Labcorp is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Mass Spec team at located in Burlington, NC! This position will be responsible for the organization, development and execution of training and onboarding for new employees. The ideal candidate must be able to be an independent self-starter, collaborate with leadership teams, passionate about training, continuous improvement and motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company.
Work Schedule: 1st shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities
Assist with the onboarding of new employees as well as initial training to ensure a positive new hire experienceProvide on-going group and individualized training for purposes of performance enhancement and general educationDeliver training in the areas of company and department policies and procedures, department related competencies and Lab Information SystemsDevelop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectivesEvaluate and update existing training materials and plansServe as a procedural and compliance resource for department employeesSupport leadership with their goals in relation to quality and service metricsAssist with the creation of improvement plans for underperforming employeesMaintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conductedProvide training with respect and professionalism at all timesAssist with the workflow during times of high volume or when coverage is neededResearch industry related information when necessaryAdditional administrative tasks as neededRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirementsMinimum 2-3 clinical laboratory testing experience as a TechnologistPrevious training or leadership experience is a plusPrevious experience with following extraction techniques for analysis to include: LC-MS/MS, liquid/liquid, SLE, SPE ,protein precipitation dilute and shoot highly preferredPrevious experience with specimen management, LIMS and Chromatographic data review highly preferredStrong communication skills; both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and time management skillsProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceComfortable working under minimal supervisionBasic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeIf you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!
