This is an exciting time to join our growing organization.** **Job** **Summary** **:** The Training Coordinator will have overall responsibility to design, plan, and implement training programs, procedures, standards, lean implementation and training tools under the direction of the Cl Manager. The training coordinator will be a core member of the leadership team and will support facets of operations and production. **Duties/Responsibilities:** + Createsa trainingprogramfordifferentrolesand functionsin conjunctionwith leadership team. + WiII develop an overall plant training system and implement training programs that directly impact measures Iike productivity, quality,efficiency,retention,leanprinciples,andenvironmentalimpacts. + Ensuresthat training materials and programsare current, accurate, and effective. + Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirementsapplicable to the organization and/orindustry + Identifies problemsand opportunitiessuchasoperationalchangesor industry developments that trainingcould improve. + Conductsor facilitates requiredand recommendedtraining sessions. + Collaborateswith vendorsand third-party training providers to arrange employee registration and participation in outside training programs. + Ensuresthat training milestones and goalsare met whileadhering tothe approvedtraining budget + Maintains a site-wide skills matrix and keeps it updated, through preparation and administration of assessments and qualifications. + Onboardshourly employees to optimally integrateinto the plant + Will present information using a variety of instructional techniquesor formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, groupdiscussions,videos,orlectures. + Developmentof a Cross-TrainingPlan toaddressbottlenecks, resourcing, and optimizingoverallstaffing levels. + Definesand establishesa Train the Trainerprogramfor the facility + Establishes and maintains a training 'playbook". + Preparesand implementsthe training budget + Performsother related duties as assigned. + Have the capability and desire to develop as a CI specialist. + Have the capability to understand execute lean principles. + Facilitate training in a classroom setting. **Education** **and** **Experience** **:** + Associate’s degreeorequivalentworkexperience + 3to5yearsintrainingordevelopment **Preferred** **Skills/Abilities** **:** + Excellentverbaland written communication skills with stronggraphicdesignabiliy + Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. + Excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail + Excellenttime managementskills with a provenability to meet deadlines. + Extremely organized and detail-oriented + Ability to prioritizetasksand todelegatethem when appropriate. + Abilitytoactwith integrity,professionalism,andconfidentiality + Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software. + Proficientwith toolsused forcreatingOnePointLessons (OPL), TrainingSOP's,Videosetc. **Physical** **Requirements** **:** + Prolongedperiodsofsittingatadeskandworkingona computer + Mustbeabletolift15poundsattimes. + Flexibility requiredtoaccommodateinteractions with manufacturingon all shifts.
