Due to organic growth, World Wide Technology EMEA now has an exciting new opportunity available for a Training Specialist to work in our high-achieving and friendly EIC team. The Training Specialist develops content that creates a dynamic and engaging learning experience that supports the needs of the business. This position works with subject matter experts to understand needs and identify appropriate training method options. The Training Specialist will support the creation of classroom and blended curricula in a high-volume training department. This position will report to the Training Supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Facilitates curriculum to employees at various levels in both classroom and online settings using various forms of media. + Provides training to new employees on systems, policies, and procedures of the department or retrains existing employees on new information or procedures to ensure they remain successful. + Facilitates learning programs, meetings, and events to transfer knowledge and prepare leaders within the organization. + Designs and develops learning content that includes the use of media and technology to enhance participant experience and transfer of knowledge and skills. + Maintains instructor-led course materials. Ensures materials are properly stored and versioned on appropriate communities. + Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with the leadership to supply feedback and direction. + Performs administrative duties on the Learning Management System, including, but not limited to: scheduling and tracking of instructor-led training, creating materials and videos, managing users, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content. + A minimum of 1 year of experience working with the development and implementation of learning and performance support in a corporate environment is preferred + A minimum of 1 year of experience in facilitation and classroom management preferred + Understanding of adult learning theories and how to apply + Strong written and oral communication skills + Ability to work in a fast pace environment with frequent changes + Self-starter, able to effectively prioritize activities with little direction + Embraces change, has passion and strong work ethic and a can-do attitude, can foster teamwork, and displays honesty and integrity in all situations + Must possess a motivating personality by being the face of WWT to new and existing employees + High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially PowerPoint **Equal opportunities:** We strive to create an environment where all employees are empowered to succeed based on their skill, performance, and dedication.
