Job objectives and responsibilities
To provide an efficient and professional support service to the Learning and Development team within Care & Custody. The Training Coordinator will possess both excellent organisational and communication skills, have a proactive and professional approach and work effectively within a team. Combined with these skills they will have genuine interest in working within the apprenticeship function and supporting individuals on the learner journey.
YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR CTC CLEARANCE. You must have a British Passport, EU passport with Share Code, or ILR from a Commonwealth Country. You must have lived and worked in the UK with no extended trips overseas (more than 3 months) for the past 3 years. You must have no criminal convictions or be part of an ongoing Police investigation.
Main duties
The Training Coordinator has the responsibility of supporting the L&D team, with duties including:
Providing first line support for any training queries from across the business Managing the scheduling of all internal training courses (ITCs). Following the end to end process from room booking, trainer availability, delegate invites and course confirmations Booking and recording of all external venues, accommodation, and transport requests Supporting the trainers with production of training materials Managing booking of training resources to maintain the training offering and availability of training kits Tracking training activity & records and recording key MI ensuring that audit trail and training history complete and up to date, to include cancellation and evaluation data with a focus on demonstrating ROI (return on investment) Supporting with the management of refresher training schedules Raising Purchase Order requests in line with the purchasing policy and following up where appropriate Tracking and monitoring training spend, ensuring alignment to budget Providing a day-to-day touchpoint with all learners on programme and supporting with escalations and interventions where required Tracking apprenticeship activity and recording key MI ensuring that audit trail and history complete and up to date, to include cancellation and evaluation data Supporting the ‘registrations of interest' from potential apprentices Support in the maintenance of apprenticeship and training processes and procedures to support L&D team Challenge administrative processes as appropriate in order to implement more effective ways of working
