The result is a rewarding opportunity to schedule and support instructors** **and** **the pilot new hire** **s** **for their** **routine training process, while learning many different** **facets** **of the SkyWest operation.**   **You’ll** **also enjoy:** + **On-the-job training** **for task specific skills** + **T** **eam atmosphere** + **Rewarding work** **in support of the** **Operation** + **Numerous growth opportunities within the company** + **Pay** **rate is $1** **8.81** **hourly with potential growth** **based on performance and skill level** **demonstrated** **.** **Training Coordinator** **s** **are responsible for** **arranging** **all aspects of the training** **phases** **of our pilots.  This process** **is** **complex** **and** **your** **knowledge will build as different areas are introduced and assigned.** + Multiple Software platform/windows are open and used throughout the day + Build schedules for tracking + Classroom + Training Devices + Simulators + Track progress and reschedule classes/students/sessions as needed + Verify instructor qualifications for scheduled sessions + Make necessary travel/lodging arrangements + Schedule, coordinate, and pre-assign other training related assignments as necessary. + Maintain excellent communication withInstructors, Pilot Records, as well as Flight Operations Managers and Supervisors. + Maintain knowledge of all Department, Company and FAA policies + Maintain reports as necessary in Excel and other programs. **Minimum Requirements** + Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams + Strong data entry and computer skills + Exceptional customer service skills, written and verbal + Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively + Some flexibility in schedule to assist and work overtime to meet deadlines + Ability to work multiple tasks while maintaining focus and detail + Self-starter and motivated team player + Critical thinking skills for adapting to changing environments and processes + Ability to maintain a productive work environment; remaining courteous and professional at all times **Physical and Other Requirements** + Full-Time Schedule is Monday - Friday, and an 8-Hour shift will be scheduled between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm in accordance with operational need, and position may require working holidays. + **This is not a remote position.
