Training Coordinator

We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support operations by designing, implementing, and managing training and onboarding programs across the facility. This role partners closely with department leaders to understand business needs and develop effective training protocols, which may require time to fully learn processes and workflows. Key responsibilities include developing and administering new\u2011hire onboarding, tracking compliance\u2011based training through systems , and collaborating with Engineering to support readiness sign\u2011offs for independent work.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a clean, organized aerospace refurbishing environment while making a direct impact on workforce readiness and operational efficiency. The Training Coordinator will help shorten training timelines, particularly for machinists, while maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards. This is a contract\u2011to\u2011hire position providing hands\u2011on experience, high visibility across the site, and potential for long\u2011term career growth.

Job Description

The Training Coordinator designs, implements, and maintains effective training and onboarding programs across all departments. This role collaborates closely with leaders and the engineering team to understand operational needs, develop training protocols, and ensure employees complete required compliance and role-based training. The Training Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a refurb facility by building learning solutions that help employees perform safely, efficiently, and independently.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders across all departments to understand training needs, workflows, and role requirements, taking the time needed to fully learn the business.Design, develop, and document training processes and protocols in collaboration with departmental leaders.Use the person and Covalent training systems to assign, track, and report on compliance-based and role-specific training completion.Develop and administer structured onboarding programs and training plans for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.Coordinate with the engineering group to align training content with technical requirements and to support sign-off processes for when employees are ready to work independently.Continuously review and refine training materials and processes based on feedback, performance metrics, and operational changes.Support training delivery through clear communication, scheduling, and coordination with leaders and subject matter experts.Manage training-related projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.Engage with employees at all levels to promote a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in learning and development (L&D) design and development.Experience supporting or working within an Operations department.Project management experience, including planning, organizing, and executing training initiatives.Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and subject matter experts to define training needs and objectives.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and priorities.Proficiency with training tracking systems such as the person and Covalent, or similar learning management systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with employees at all levels and across multiple sites.Ability to learn complex business operations and technical processes over time and translate them into clear training materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Learning and development back ground with experience in training development and training instruction.Experience in learning development within an operational or industrial environment.Comfort working closely with engineering or technical teams to align training with technical standards.Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to different roles and skill levels.Industry-specific experience is helpful but not required; the ability and willingness to learn the business is more important.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
