The Dealer Services Training team’s mission is to be highly valued as an innovative and strategic training team that contributes to the overall success of GM Financial/AmeriCredit and our dealer network. We support GM Financial/AmeriCredit by educating employees in dealer and loan services, building relationships with the dealers and supporting everyone with essential training for maximum impact.
The team is comprised of 2 distinct teams that support this overall mission:
The Credit and Sales training team provides our field organization relevant skill and process-based training that aids them in every dealer interaction. This team partners with Dealer Services business units to keep a pulse on the industry and provide dynamic training options that adapt to the changing auto lending environment.The Loan Services training team is responsible for training all Funding Operations and Loan Services employees, new and existing. We also partner with the Canada Funding team when necessary to assist in training virtually new hires or when there is a major new Funding system rollout.What Makes You a Dream Candidate?
Advanced knowledge of account management systems, primarily Provenir, CPW, and AS.
Advanced knowledge of underwriting and contract funding processes, policies, and guidelines.
Knowledge of Lexis Nexis, Instant ID, Challenge Questions, SSA- Forms, -T Forms and PACER.
Must have a good understanding of Dealer Service’s operations.
Must understand and embrace the principles of GM Financial.
User knowledge of underwriting and contract funding.
Working knowledge of retail and lease origination and funding systems.
Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
Ability to interpret consumer credit bureau reports.
Ability to manage assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project Management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of auto finance industry loan operations.
Experience
2-3 years in a credit/underwriting role Req
3-5 years Finance industry experience Pref
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

About The Role
The Training Consultant - Credit and Systems is responsible for the identification, design, development, facilitation, and implementation of training curriculums and programs, with specific emphasis placed on improving operational efficiency and execution in Credit Operations. This individual will work directly with various levels of Credit Operations management and team members to promote best practices and operational consistency of all credit applications in the both retail and leasing environments. In addition, this individual will be required to develop and deliver training towards company initiatives and strategies in other areas.
In this role you will:
Develop and deliver training curricula that address needs and utilize other training methodologies to ensure consistent application of credit and underwriting techniques, partnering with a vendor when necessary.
Provide ongoing coaching, follow up and measurement for initiatives.
Prepare, maintain, and update training materials for both new hire and ongoing training.
Continually evaluate, analyze and revise training programs.
Work with administration to ensure classes are set up properly.
