The Maritime System Division (MSD) of LEIDOS has an opening for a self-motivated team player that has demonstrated experience as an ISR USN platform system operator instructor to join our talented team.  This role demands an exceptional command of technical, tactical, and instructional techniques to garner the immediate trust of the warfighter.

Successful candidate will:

Provide direct instruction to students in both classroom and simulator training environments, including:LecturesComputer based learningDesktop simulationCrew-based simulationSupervision of tests and assessmentsCollect and review student performance and feedback data for use in reporting and assessment of training effectiveness.Review and provide feedback to the Prime Contractor on system Interactive Courseware (ICW), Instructor-Led Training (ILT) lessons, scripts for Desktop Training Mode (DTM) events; and scenarios for Tactical Crew Coordination Trainer (TCCT) events for technical accuracy and effective instructional strategy. Review and provide subject matter expertise to the Government customer, Prime Contractor, and Fleet operators on a highly complex sensor system.Have familiarity with classified marking and handling requirements as set forth in DoD and DoN policy.Ensure 100% accountability of classified training materials and engineering documents.Collect and disseminate training system performance and discrepancy reports.Provide training device testing and acceptance support.

Basics Qualifications:

BA/BS or equivalent experience, with 5+ years as an Advanced Airborne Sensor Tactical Officer (TO) or Sensor Operator (S) or master’s degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, and complete assigned projects with minimal supervisionStrong technical, verbal, and writing skillsCurrent TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications and experience:

Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate as part of a teamExperience as Naval Flight Officer (NFO) or Aircrewman Operator (AWO) Instructor/Evaluator with a master’s degree from an accredited college or university.Experience as P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor Instructor, Tactical Officer (TO) or Sensor Operator (SO)Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Community operations and training experienceInstructor experience as a Squadron, Fleet replacement Squadron (FRS)/VP-30, and FRS IUT Instructor, teaching complex maritime airborne sensor systems.Experience supporting Special Access programs.Experience supporting an ACAT I-D program.Experience operating in a multi-level protection environment.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
