Part-Time Driver Trainer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Part-Time Driver Trainer (approximately 30 hours per week) in Iroquois, ON. This role facilitates classroom and behind-the-wheel training for drivers and other staff, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and provincial regulations. You will coach and mentor new drivers based on key safety indicators.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom and on-road training to new driversProvide refresher training for existing staff as neededMaintain accurate training records for compliance with provincial and company standardsSupport safety programs, including accident investigations and safety meetingsEvaluate driver performance to ensure compliance with Ontario licensing and company requirementsParticipate in meetings and training sessionsTravel locally to deliver training at multiple sites

Qualifications

Valid Ontario Class B or C licence with appropriate endorsementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a school bus driver with a clean driving recordPrevious experience in driver training or safety programs is an assetStrong communication and coaching skillsAbility to work independently and travel locally
