Experience RequiredTrain and monitor skills of new and existing Medical Assistants:
Obtains current patient information including but not limited to; vital signs, height, weight, specimens, allergies, reason for visit, chief complaint, medical history updates, and medication changes, and records iin accordance with OSHA and universal precautionsProcessing instruments and equipment as neededObtaining all necessary patient records as required by the physician and verifying the presence of consent prior to treatment Scheduling appointments as applicableAssisting in preauthorization needsAll other duties as assigned. Including providing medical assistant support to the providers if there is a staffing need
