Shift: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5:30pm

What will you do?

A day in the life of an Training Lead at VF looks a little like this.

This position is responsible for ensuring Operations associates, both temporary and

permanent employees, receive top-of-the-line training. The Trainer must be motivated,

organized, and demonstrate enthusiasm and good communication skills. Along with the

other Trainers, this individual will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day training on all

roles across the distribution center in a fast-paced environment.

Onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they understand warehouseoperations and safety procedures, and maintaining training materials.Train and teach all aspects of OperationsEnsure consistency in training proper procedures for each departmentFacilitate training sessions based on weekly departmental training requirementsand building needs as well as cross training when needed.Facilitate Safety CoursesReview training compliance reports to help identify training opportunities.Identify areas for improvement for associates and provide additional trainingsupport where neededEvaluate associate performances throughout the training program and give recommendations to OperationsEffectively present and facilitate course content to associates in a positive mannerProficiently assist in developing training materialsReview current Standard Operating Procedures for accuracy and request updates asneededEnsure all training documents are updated as processes are added or changedDevelop strategic partnerships with Operations leadership to ensure training meets the needs of operationsCross train associates into different areas.Help with weekly coaching and give tips to help improve employee performance. • Ensure consistency in training proper procedures for each departmentCreating Training Materials for SOP & Job Aids to support training programs.Sensitivity: Internal UseAssist with any Continuous Improvements where needed.Equipment Certifications: Certifying employees to operate powered industrialtrucks.

What do you need to succeed?

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Two plus years training/work experience preferredPossess organizational and planning skillsAbility to communicate in a professional mannerAbility to work under minimum supervision, multi-task, and meet regular deadlinesAbility to stand, walk, bend and pull for entire 10–12-hour shiftProficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) preferredAbility to present to all levels of employees with confidenceHigh attention to detail with the ability to problem solveAbility to change with minimal noticeAbility to build relationships

Hiring Range:

$17.00 USD - $21.25 USD per hour
