DescriptionThe Trainee Systems Developer will support the development and maintenance of internal tools used by different teams. The trainee must be eager to learn, work closely with experienced developers, and help improve both front-end applications and backend database processes.
This role is ideal for someone starting their career in IT or software development and looking to build practical experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities\nAssist in building and updating simple web applications for internal users.\nLearn to write and fix SQL queries to manage and process data.\nHelp investigate and solve technical issues in applications to provide timely fixes and workarounds.\nSupport documentation of code changes and technical processes.\nWork with senior developers and business teams to understand needs and help build\nsolutions.\nHelp test new features and updates to ensure they work correctly.\nStay curious and open to learning new tools, languages, and technologies.\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, a degree in Finance or Economics with a strong interest in technology is also welcome.\nPractical experience with VBA for applications, gained through studies, internships, or personal projects.\nUnderstanding of relational databases and T-SQL, including writing queries and stored procedures.\nGood problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nClear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.\nA strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.\n
