Purpose of the Role: 

The Trainee Structural Designer supports the preparation of structural drawings, 3D models, and design deliverables under the supervision of senior designers and engineers. The role focuses on developing fundamental drafting and design skills while gaining exposure to industry standards, project specifications, and company procedures. By working closely with the structural design team, the Trainee Structural Designer contributes to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution. The position provides structured training and career development opportunities towards becoming a fully competent Structural Designer.

Key Responsibilities: 

Assist in preparing structural drawings, 3D models and tasks in accordance with project requirements, schedule and technical requirements. 

Support design drawings and revisions. 

Interface with other engineering disciplines. 

Learn project workflows, industry standards and software tools 

Qualifications / Skill Set: 

Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting 

Strong willingness to learn and grow 

Good communication and teamwork skills 

Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in structural design. 

Beneficial: Design experience in Fixed Offshore Platforms in greenfield/brownfield projects. 

Basic proficiency in CAD or 3D model software e.g. E3D, SP3D, BOCAD, TEKLA
