JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Label Printers to gain the skill set required to become a fully competent Rewind machine Operator.  Applicants should be trained operators of large production machinery with experience working in a busy factory environment.  On the job training will be delivered and exposure to all aspects of the business will be provided to help the individual gain a full understanding of the process.  

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Training will include learning to: Set up the Saturn rewind machineAssist with duties on Prati Vega application Work to ISO standards Ensure that all working practices are compliant with the requirements of the company’s, EHS management procedures and Quality standards Work towards deadlines to maximise OTIF 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Trained operator of any large production machineExperience of working in a busy factory environment Demonstrable experience of good team working & communication skillsAbility to use initiative Flexible to work to established shift patterns including nightshiftKnowledge of good manufacturing practice Must be IT literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft packagesWillingness to learn new skills and participate in trainingLabel printing experience (Desirable) Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (Desirable)
