Trainee Escalator Engineer

After a major new win OTIS are looking to identify Trainee Escalator Engineers to support with routine maintenance on Escalators across the London underground system.

As a Trainee Escalator Engineer, you will be expected to;

Work alongside a qualified Escalator EngineerStudy towards completing your NVQ Level 3Help towards completing your Escalator NVQGet involved with planning of engineering worksWork efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.Stay away overnight as and when requiredLiaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship

Required Experience

You will train towards completing your NVQ Level 3.You will develop all-round knowledge of escalator equipment and to the point that you can work independently and demonstrate that you can apply escalator engineering principles.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering background that wishes to pursue an interesting career with a world-renowned company. We are interested in receiving applications from candidates with a demonstrable background in Engineering (NVQ’S BTEC or similar) Lift/Escalator Mates / Improvers wishing to gain their NVQ Level 3.
