You will partner with staff to ensure consistent, quality service to meet the needs and goals of Health Center residents. Responsibilities include: + Providing medication in a timely manner. + Interact politely and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff. ****This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.** **Qualifications** To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications. + Must be 18 years old. + High school diploma or equivalent + Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nurse Aide Registry + Completion of Medical Administration course **Additional Qualifications** + Experience working with geriatric population is preferred. + Ability to work under the supervision of licensed staff. + Excellent communication and human relations sills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. + Flexibility to work all hours which could include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. **Licensure** Nursing Assistant Certification is required and must be listed on the MN Nurse Aide Registry. **Application Requirements** ***All must be included for your application to be considered** : + CV/Resume + Cover letter + Current employes must attach their past three performance appraisals. + Current employees who have not met their 1- or 2-year commitment to their current department/position must attach an early release approval from their supervisor. + Detailed international equivalency for foreign degrees* ***International Degrees** : + MUST have a DETAILED equivalency evaluation. + MUST show US equivalent degree. + Evaluation MUST be completed from an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) www.naces.org OR the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc.
