Train Presentation Supervisor

We’re looking for a Train Presentation Supervisor to lead and inspire our team at our Ardwick depot. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality train presentation services, driving operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across the board.
Please note: This role involves working night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift basis.
You‘ll make a difference by ….Plan and manage all resources (people, materials, tools, services) to meet daily operational needs, ensuring shift coverage, minimal downtime, and alignment with customer requirements.Deliver the presentation plan to meet business targets, reduce deferred work, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Promote continuous improvement, lead productivity initiatives, share best practices, and manage audits and cross-functional process enhancements.Make service decisions aligned with KPIs, eliminate non-conformance costs, identify additional service opportunities, and monitor productivity for cost savings.Demonstrate Siemens leadership standards, develop a high-performance culture, manage performance, and support employee development through coaching and reviews.Ensure compliance with internal controls, Siemens policies, and ethical standards, taking corrective actions as needed.Provide operational guidance, maintain accurate records and databases, and support technical issue resolution.Implement safe systems, promote safety culture (e.g., Zero Harm), conduct audits, investigate incidents, and ensure environmental care.Deliver team briefs, cascade business updates, engage with line managers on priorities, and maintain effective shift handovers.Your success will be grounded by …Leadership experienceGood knowledge of IT systems/softwareExcellent communication skills both written and oralStrong organization/planning skillsGood understanding of Health, Safety and environment requirementsIt's a bonus if you have ...Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock presentation procedures/practicesBasic understanding of continuous improvement principlesContract/Commercial knowledgeYou'll benefit from ...
