**Job Title: Trailer Technician** Job Description As a Trailer Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, diagnose and repair issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers, conduct daily maintenance and lubrication of auxiliary equipment, and test equipment and systems for performance and safety. You will also repair brakes, electrical systems, and ABS brake systems, replace worn or damaged parts and components, and document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately. Shift: M-F 5am-3:30pm Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers. + Diagnose and repair issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers. + Conduct daily maintenance and lubrication of auxiliary equipment. + Test equipment and systems for performance and safety. + Repair brakes, electrical systems, and ABS brake systems. + Replace worn or damaged parts and components. + Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately. + Operate and maintain hand tools used in the maintenance workshop. + Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed. + Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. Essential Skills + Mechanical skills + Trailer repair expertise + Mechanically inclined + Proficient with hand and power tools + Repair and assembly skills + Knowledge of electrical systems + Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications + GED or equivalent required + Welding or fabrication experience + Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS systems preferred + Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and occasionally push/pull up to 300 lbs Why Work Here?
