Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately for the role of a 1st shift Trailer Mechanic B for our site in Portage, IN. This role will primarily be responsible for handling repairs on new and refurbished trailers.
Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM
Pay: $24.00-$27.00/HR based on experience/qualifications

The Trailer Upfitting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets within the Company As a Trailer Upfitting Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components Other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)Preferred Education and Experience:
