**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to conduct routine inspections and repairs on trailers, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. The role involves maintaining and servicing trailer systems, including air brakes, suspension, electrical systems, couplers, landing gear, and decking. **Responsibilities** + Conduct routine inspections and repairs on trailers. + Report damages and implement corrective actions. + Maintain and service trailer systems including air brakes, suspension, electrical systems, couplers, landing gear, and decking. + Perform welding repairs in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. + Assist with minor repairs on terminal tractors as needed. + Execute test drives to verify functionality after repairs. + Complete work orders using fleet maintenance software, accurately tracking parts and labor. + Support team members with additional repair tasks when needed. + Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in welding, trailer repair, and fabrication. + Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance requirements in a maintenance facility. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** This position offers direct placement, providing a stable and secure opportunity for growth within a supportive team environment.
