Trailer Inspector

Position Summary:
This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Trailer Inspector is responsible for inspecting all trailers or containers entering the yard.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Strong computer/PC skills required • Ability to read and comprehend general instructions, correspondence and memos • Ability to communicate clearly • Ability to work independently, take initiative and to be a self-starter • Ability to plan and organize workload • Ability to handle pressure and work with interruptions • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to details • Ability to handle multiple priorities • Ability to work flexible hours as needed • Ability to interact, in a professional manner, with employees, vendors and customers • Ability to secure information from potential customers • Willingness to learn and accept responsibility • Must be able to travel as required • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions • Ability to work an perform tasks in various weather conditions • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

This Position is located in Franklin, VA
The Shift rotates Weekly Monday - Friday: Week 1 5am - 2pm, Week 2 6am - 3pm, week 3 7am - 4pm
